Thank you very much for a great weekend break. All the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a slight issue with noise in the next room but when we asked to be moved it was done without fuss or hassle. The kids club and girls were just great, wonderful facility. The only negative we noticed were the springs on the bedroom doors caused the doors to bang quite loudly every time someone left or entered a room, which went on late into the night and started again early morning. But again we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and were very happy.

My husband and I stayed for the June bank holiday weekend. On arrival receptionist was extremely pleasant and courtious. Our room was roomy with every possible necessity needed for a weekend. Dinner in the bar was also a pleasant and enjoyable occasion, and breakfast was a real treat, handed a full irish instead of the usual buffet. Wonderful weekend and a very enjoyable trip to Midleton Park Hotel Pauline

My son and I stayed for 2 nights in a family room as requested by me as we both wanted a double bed! I didnt factor in that all the family rooms would be next to each other....my mistake so it was a little noisy especially in the corridor but also through the walls from 8 am. I had however asked for a quiet room away from the car park. I was given 103 facing the main road with a faulty catch on the window which luckily my son was able to sort out by closing from the outside while I pulled from the inside! The room itself was perfect, spotless and with plenty of towels. We ate in the cafe bar on the Sat night. The food was lovely, the staff were efficient and very pleasant. However someone should tell them that they ought not to sweep the crumbs etc onto the floor around the customers feet! They all do it! I also saw it done in the restaurant by the breakfast staff. The breakfast was lovely however my son is vegetarian and all he wanted was porridge and a croissant. On the 1st morning we arrived at about 10.10. The croissants were gone but there was an uneaten one on a vacated table next to ours.He was happy enough to help himself to that one. The 2nd morning we arrived at 9.40 and again there were none! We both enjoyed our stay but I do think there is room for improvement. I have stayed in your hotel 5/6 times, maybe more in the last 7/8 years and will do so again Regards Michele Healy

From check-in to check-out we had a fabulous time at the Midleton Park Hotel. The food was great for both dinner and breakfast the following morning. Service was superb at every level. We met a lovely receptionist Aisling and Mario in the restaurant was great. The ladies in the spa were fabulous as well and really looked after us all. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We will definately return again. The Nugents - Cork City

The Hotel had a friendly feel about it . The staff were great , our room had a lot of space a bit disappointed with the fact we had a cigarette burn in the net curtain not your fault must have been a previous guest . we would use your hotel again when we visit midleton again. Overall a lovely 2 night stay. Hotel was very clean. Double room was a good size with a nice layout. Staff were very helpful as we needed help with luggage. Breakfast both mornings was lovely and again staff were friendly. Just a note: The TV remote in the room (215) did not work and the window latch was loose/damaged.

The entire Reservation was so effortless and on arrival I was made to feel very welcome. Ken desreves a special mention as his attention to detail was such that he made the check-in so easy and he described everything about the facilities in the Hotel very well. The check-out was also very painless and I was impressed with a follow up call after my departure. This hotel rates very high in terms cleaniness and service. A most enjoyable stay. Many Thanks. Kind Regards, Alex Warns (Room 328 - May 10th - 11th, 2013)

Midleton Park is a reasonably priced hotel, with good facilities on site. It is well located; rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The bar is a busy spot, serving tasty food and breakfast too was nice as well as generous. Really good leisure facility - pool clean with separate kiddies pool. If i was to make any crticism, it is that the rooms are a little too warm - not a bad complaint though. All in all great value for money and i would have no hesitation in recommending to a friend or returning for another stay

Hi There, Myself and a friend of mine planned a spin (on motorbikes) from Dublin and when looking for accommodation I came across your hotel. It was exactly what I was looking for, B&B at a very reasonable price. The room was of a very good standard and the big bonus for me was the use of your leasure facilities, sauna and steam room. The breakfast was also very good. Thank you, Brian

Stayed in hotel as was attending a wedding close by so didn't spend much time in the hotel. The short time I stayed there the service was great, rooms were comfortable, food in the bar and the pint was great. Breakfast in the morning was good also. All in all this was a perfect hotel for what was needed and would recommend it if staying in or close to Middleton. Great value and great service.

The receptionist was warm, friendly and willing to help. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The swimming-pool was beautiful with spotless dressing rooms and great facilities. The evening meal was delicious and very generous, but unfortunately the was an error in the bill and breakfast next morning was slow and poor, definitely NOT Clonakilty Black/White Puddings, as described. The curtains and nets need cleaning! The staff were very friendly and co-operative and we would stay again. Overall, good value and a good location, handy for Cork City and East Cork. Kevin Hayes. Details for competition: 1, Kildalton Close, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny. (086-8289302.)

We stayed for one night at the Midleton Park Hotel before a wedding in March 2013 and were very very happy indeed with our stay! All of the staff were approachable, friendly and very professional, and it seemed that nothing we asked was too much trouble. We had a very large room and the bed was super-comfortable. All very clean and tidy, and the bathroom spotless.

My husband and I stayed in your Hotel on Saturday night April 13th. We had lunch first which was excellent...receptionist was most helpful and our room was very spacious and clean. Unfortunately we didn't get upon time for breakfast but going on past experience I'm sure it would have been excellent too! We would highly recommend your hotel to our family and friends Kind regards Bridget Brouder

I arrived on Friday night last to the hotel at 11:20pm having booked a weekend in the hotel two weeks before on the hotel website. I had received the usual confirmation email from the hotel, confirming my booking and another follow-up email from the hotel advising that you were looking forward to receiving me as a guest etc. When I arrived, the Night Porter advised me that the hotel was full owing to a wedding, there was only one room left and that it was not in my name so there was nothing he could do. I queried this with the Night Porter and showed him my confirmation email on my Blackberry. He suggested that I had the dates wrong. When I showed him the dates of the booking on the confirmation email, which corresponded with the date of my arrival, he then suggested that I must have booked another Midleton hotel "up the country" (owing to the fact that the hotel's email header refers to "Middleton Hotel Cork". So, I then pointed out the fact that there was an actual photo of the hotel on the confirmation email. The night porter shrugged his shoulders and when I asked what was I to do, kindly suggested that I leave and try to find another hotel in Cork as there was nothing he could do. At 11:30pm on a Friday night! Eventually, he had the common sense to ring a manager (which he should have done in the first place) who then came and sorted out the situation and got me a room. Whilst the matter was sorted satisfactorily in the end, I never received an explanation as to what happened, which I would welcome. (I was told it was a "mix-up") I suspect that my room was given to someone else prior to my arrival. Also, the bath leaked, and the remote control for the TV in the room was minus one battery. All in all, shoddy hospitality with certain staff who don't seem to know the first thing about how to deal with customers. On the plus, the breakfasts (which I gratefully received gratis owing to the Friday night cock-up) were delicious, the kitchen staff were friendly and the beds there are extremely comfortable.

We hand a very enjoyable stay in Midelton Park. We got a very nice welcome and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a very tasty meal in the bar and the price was good. The bedroom was large and very comfortable and warm and it is great to find a hotel that has a smoking bedroom. The only complaint we would have was that the signposting in the town for the hotel is very poor. Thank you for a lovely stay. Eddie and Aileen Cussen

Room cold, extra blanket Holey, drafty window, thanks for repairing the door number on day four of staying there. Breakfast service poor and would be better if a buffet price was available, no need for charging 10 euros for no flavor coffee and toast for example. Staff in Bar area and Kitchen should not pass debris without scooping up and disposing of it. Should be no smoking in adjoining rooms. Wi-fi connection spotty to no connection many times. Leisure area acceptable but did not predicate my staying at the hotel. When cold and rainy during stay in April I think the outside doors should be closed. Hotel needs a refurbishing as the floors, doors, and othe exterior area are run down. Pant press and towel warmer do not function as advertised.

In general we were fantastic, but some problems that we've found are, the bathroom's door don't lock properly, the water pressure in the shower was very weak and finally we thought that the breakfast was a little bit better.

We stayed for the Easter Weekend. It was lovely and the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. A 10/15 drive from Mahon and the City, but this suited us. All in all a very comfortable and relaxing stay, lovely pool, gym and outdoor hot tub.

We had a lovely stay over St. Patrick's weekend, when we were attending a wedding locally. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and recommended an excellent hairdresser! The food in the bar was excellent, but we were a little disappointed with the breakfast. Unfortunately we had no time for a dip in the pool on this occasion. This was our second time in the hotel and we would not hesitate to come back again.

Hi, just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our short stay in the Midleton Park over the Weekend when we were down for the Ballycotton Race - All the Staff were so friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank the Staff in the leisure Centre on Sunday for looking after me so well after my unfortunate 'Blackout'. I look forward to staying with you again in the future, Kind Regards, Pat & Sinead Muldoon ( Mullingar).

What a joy it was to stay in this hotel. There is plenty of free parking in the grounds, and check-in and out were handled efficiently by a friendly receptionist. This whole place is spotless, everything was gleaming and it was cosy, clean and welcoming. All staff members wore a crisp, clean uniform and were good humoured. We went here on a deal from one of the popular online websites and I have to say it was probably the best deal we’ve ever purchased. We were given a complementary upgrade, and the room was just gorgeous. It looked out onto an inner garden in which there is a water feature with two small fountains in it, and a hot tub which is attached to the leisure centre. Our room was very well equipped and had a massive bed. The bathroom had everything supplied and the towel rail was constantly heated, which was terrific. The town is literally a few minutes walk from the hotel, so we rambled down town for dinner. Glad to report there is a good selection of eateries in Midleton. We had an excellent sleep, not a sound could be heard from anywhere. Took advantage of the leisure centre next morning for a swim (and a tryout of the hot tub) before breakfast. It was just super. The leisure facility is fantastic, plenty of towels, lovely hot showers, it's clean and warm, and there are very pleasant staff running it. Breakfast was great, they have a lovely dining room, beautifully decorated and we were spoiled for choice with what was on offer. The only bad part of our stay was having to leave to come home! What a pity we weren’t staying for another night. We would definitely recommend the Midleton Park 100% to anybody to might be interested – families included. Even without special online offers their prices are surprisingly affordable. This is an excellent hotel and we will most definitely make a return visit. Stayed March 2013, travelled as a couple

I would like to say that we stayed in the Midleton Park Hotel for the weekend 8th February 2013. We had a fabulous time. The staff, food, service and facilities (especially the swimming pool) were excellent. This hotel offered great value for money. We have stayed in other hotels in Ireland, at a more expensive price and did not received the same level of hospitality or service that we received from the Midleton Park Hotel. We hope to return in the future. I would highly recommend this hotel. Lisa Sheahan
